According to data released by the China's customs, China exported 5.22 million tons of finished steel products in June, down slightly from 5.23 million tons in May.
As the high export volumes of finished steel products reflected the good order booking during March through April, the export market has still been falling in prices and demand, the Chinese exporter indicated.
The order volumes that the Chinese exporters received have declined widely during May through June, due to less competitive prices.
Meanwhile, the data also showed that the country's imports of finished steel products decreased by 8% month on month to 1.1 million tons.
